In 2018, Human Rights House Foundation developed 16 standards related to the rights of human rights defenders, together with the relevant international legislations that they stem from. This overview may be a useful tool for NGOs and human rights defenders in their advocacy for rights of human rights defenders, independently of national legislative provisions.
