Protection Policies for Human Rights Defenders is a publication by Human Rights Review Sur on the experiences with policies for the protection of human rights defenders (HRDs) that are in place in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. It addresses major issues encountered with the implementation of these policies, specifically concerning the National Programme for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders (Programa Nacional de Proteção aos Defensores de Direitos Humanos or PPDDH) in Brazil.
