Europe: OSCE Guidelines on the Protection of Human Rights Defenders

On the 10th of June 2014, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) introduced the Guidelines on the Protection of Human Rights Defenders. The guidelines are aimed to support OSCE states member states in realising their commitment to protect human rights defenders.
